The voice you’re hearing is one I never had before.
The voice you wanted is one that I have chosen to ignore.
React in spaces, formed from dust beyond the stars.
I’ve tasted sweetness above the noise and concrete floors.
And in my new found calm I hear the distant snow stop falling.
I am a revenant here, too far from home to make a sound from nothing.
I lie awake a daylight dream in the deepest dark of night.
White whispers in my head, not dead, but gone without a fight.
Were these just echoes? Memories of another me?
If suffering unfolds, I will leave a trail of broken bodies behind me.
